drain and spin programme not spinning on hoover dyn9164dpg

I can select the drain and spin programme on my newly bought dyn9164dpg, but it only drains. The time also says 4 minutes, which corresponds in my opinion to the time to drain only. I have had other hoover washing machines as well) The manual says that you can reduce the spin speed by using the spin speed option button, but it has no effect on the programme.

Do I do something wrong?

Is this a brand new machine? If so contact the supplier.

It’s brand new but graded. 6 months warranty instead of 12 I think. Would there be a problem in the software?

Software, hardware, it’s not a computer you bought but a faulty washing machine. Contact the supplier, don’t mess with it.

On other programmes, it is spinning, just not the drain and spin programme. So, it should be a problem in the programme logic or whatever you may call it. I will contact Hoover.
