Drain pump impeller axial movement (bosch)

Hi,
Have a bosch dishwasher with a small plastic drain pump (part no: 00611332) which has a bayonet type fixing. Can move the impeller a few millimeters away from the motor – it feels spring loaded, but want to make sure.
Is the movement normal?

If it’s a magnetic pump there’s usually always a little bit of movement in them.

I think I’II take it out and have a look. Maybe there is something else disrupting operation.
