    Hi…. Neff S54T09X1GB

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the control wiring diagram for this model?

I’m having problems with it pumping out. The drain pump is not getting any power, even if float switch is raised.

The only diagrams I can find are from a Bosch, which show the float switch directly powering the pump, but I’m pretty sure my float switch wires are from the control board.

I’ve replaced the main control board (the bigger of the 2) and replaced the drain pump, and cleaned out every tube. There’s power to the control board, and the display functions. The machine will start a cycle, but without the usual drain pump run first, which is weird as it starts a cycle even if the float is up.

Any ideas where to look next? Or if I had a wiring diagram I could possibly trace the fault.

    Cheers

check for damage to the wiring harness as it bends at the bottom of the door

what is the full Enr number and what part number did you replace ?

    Thanks for comment Dave.

Just done complete strip of door and sides and disconnected and tested every wire… no problems.

    Door switch also works fine…

Only thing I can think to do next is complete removal of base and test every other wire?

    Any other ideas?… anyone??
    Full Enr is S54T09X1GB/21
Have replaced Drain pump and Main Control Board. (the one in base bottom right hand side, as it’s the one that ‘feeds’ the drain pump.)
Also checked operation of the float switch contacts, and pressure switch contacts.
I knew the drain pump wasn’t getting voltage, so didn’t suspect it was the problem, but I broke one of the terminals while trying to get the spade connector off, so thought I might as well get a new one anyway.
Starting to regret not just buying a new machine!. but now I’m in, I’m not letting it beat me!!

I’ve had this machine apart a few times previously, mostly due to clogged tubes. Every time I have had the left side panel off, the float switch mechanism activates the drain pump….This time it doesn’t, hence my suspicion of wiring/controls.

    any comments appreciated..
    cheers

well they are not Siemans part no’s

power board gen part no 642302
    and pump is 483054

the only reason i ask is the days where the part looks the same so it will work are gone
A lot of components need to have the correct software installed to be able to talk to other boards and work effectively. the model you gave was S54T09X1GB/21. There is a range of machines with a similar model number where only the last 2 digits change. Its also possible some of them have different software on similar looking boards

in your case its significant that you seem to have the same fault on both boards so its possible the control board at the door may be faulty. you could strip this and look for possible water ingress

Dave. Thanks for trying to help.
The part number for the control board came from the original one I took out (the original part) and the one I bought has got identical numbers. Albeit, those are the numbers on the labels on the casings, so not necessarily a NEFF part number. Will look up Neff part number tomorrow.
    Cheers
