drainage hoses on Electra AWM1100B

having cleared a blockage in the drainage hoses (tub wouldn’t drain) it struck me as odd that the hose that connects directly into the tub just pushes inside without any apparent clip, surely this wouldn’t have an effective water seal would it?
any advice would be a great help

Hi

The hose on the tub should have a ” V ” flange around the top where it fits into tub. Only top part of flange goes inside of tub

tub ——–>flange <——–tub

also you should use sealant in flange
