    Looking for some help with my washer/dryer.
    Zanussi Jet System 1600 – WJD1667W
    Recently the machine has not be draining (E20 error) and making a terrible noise when the pump is supposed to be working.
    Previously when this has happened (twice before over the past 12 months) I have manually drained the machine, removed the pump to clean it and replaced and everything has then worked fine.
    This time I have tired three times with no success. What do I do now?
    The pump is an Askoll 290793.
    I’m obviously happy to replace the pump but with it still making a noise I’m not convinced that it is broken….or is it?

    Please help!!

    Foreign objects in the pump can eventually damage it, especially the Askoll type, as long as you’re sure there’s nothing in there, replacing it should do the trick (with the power off 😉 :zap:)

    Will this pump be ok for a 1200 series Zanussi?

    For your WJD1257W, the pump above will be fine. Alternately you can get the pukka thing from Zanussi – p/no 1249206/21-8 – for £37 plus VAT etc.

    Sorry for the delay – only just signed back on again in the hope of a reply.

    😉 I have exactly same problem as Scarty 10 on my Zanussi WJD1667W so have ordered pump and fingers crossed.
