    Managed to open up the dryer and have removed the motor which had 2 cooling fans/impellers. One of which is damaged. How do you remove these fans from the unit and can they even be removed? I’d rather just buy a fan than a whole motor unit.
    Any help appreciated.

    you need to take out the motor

    it then talks about tool 10 to remove the fan. looks like some kind if special socket but they don’t show me a picture

    Thanks for your reply. Will just by the motor unit and fans as a whole.

    I would take motor out and have a look first to see if there is any way of removing it
