we have a BEKO drcs68w condenser dryer – got it second hand, seems to be working OK .. but when we put it on ‘Extra Dry’ after its finished stuff doesnt seem to come out extra dry, I would say more like ‘ready to wear’ . I have the filter cleaned, the condensing unit clean, the vents at the front and back of the machine clear of fluff , the thermostat ribs at back of the filter in drum are clean (I have even took out the ribs and cleaned the fluff there too where the wires attach on the back of the ribs) top thermostat clean both element must be working OK. Still after a cycle the clothes will be sort of warm and damp’ish instead of ‘extra dry’ especially with Towels and heavy cotton items. – Any ideas please? Thanks.

On another note (we never do) but if i were to put machine onto 60 minutes manual drying the machine ends in about 10 mins instead of 60mins like its detecting through sensor drying rather than staying on working up to 60mins I know that might sound confusing but thats what it seems to be doing.

you say both elements are working so how do you know ?

on timed dry unit only uses 1 element so is it getting warm ?

I have it plugged into a energy meter – on sensor dry it starts off on 1 element, then after a while 2nd element kicks in and pump initiates.

Yes getting warm on Timed drying, only 1 element working on timed, thats fine, but if i set timed drying to 60mins it stops after 10 minutes –

I wonder if top NTC sensor of drum is being over-sensitive and stopping machine too early?
