    Can anybody please save the day for me please?

    I have a Ariston Margherita CDE 12X and suddenly the drum has stopped turning, so on the spin cycle etc… nothing appears to happen.

    If I am not mistaken, it started to not spin on the spin cycle initially, but now it will not turn at all on any of the wash settings either.

    Can anybody please please offer any advise as to what I may be able to do?

    DRIVE BELT, MOTOR CARBON BRUSHES or good old Indesit electronics are your prime targets.

    Power off first, please.
