I have a Hotpoint Reversomatic model 9327p which has stopped going round. The timer is ticking and the heaters are glowing hot but the motor doesn’t run.
I tried a new capacitor but no luck so I got a replacement motor kit but still no joy.
    Might it be the timer?
    Can anyone help please?

Something that would be painfully obvious if as the OP states, they have changed the motor. 😉
Although changing the motor without first testing it electrically is the height of folly. :rolls:
Not common but the control timer can cause this fault, something else that can be tested with the correct equipment.
Not sure how much you paid for the motor but the timer is listed at around £75, not something I would be putting in a 20 year old dryer. 🙁
