    The dryer on our machine has stopped working. The error code is ED7 which seems to mean the thermostats are faulty. I tested these at room temperature. The two thermostats close to the heating element (3 and 3B in diagram) are closed circuit, while the one further down (48 in diagram) has a resistance of 5.8kOhms.

    I would be inclined to think that the one that has a resistance at room temperature is faulty, but not sure.

    Any ideas how to diagnose them?
