I have a washer/condensor dryer buy my wife complains about the time taken to dry clothes.
I have space next to the washer & access for a vent so am considering to buy a vented dryer. The dryer will be used for babies clothes and needs to be cool to touch.
What is recommended? Should I opt for a glass porthole dryer (does the glass get hot?) or should I opt for a covered door? (the wife likes the porthole so you can see clothes, but will this affect performance??).
I have looked at the AEG T37400 & Zanussi TD4113 and found nothing in your forum to suggest problems with either machine.
Any suggestions or pointers would be of great use.

    Hi friggy

Door glasses do get very warm. I would go with the solid door machines where there are young ones about 😉

Both machines are okay but out of the two I would go with the AEG. It`s better built then the Zanussi. Comes with a stainless steel drum, soft door opening and the programme options are good with the sensed or timed drying.

Get a solid door dryer, and buy your wife a TV 😆
