an retired white goods repair man is doing the job for me but said it would be easier with a wiring diagram. as this site has been very helpful in the past i thought i would try here first.

it will toast your bread, which is evidentally more than your current one does!

    Re: DUALIT 3 SLICE TOASTER

yes it will but i would rather fix my dualit. i have a spare toaster so toasting is not a problem. the problem is my memory & three children who i belive were just put there to distract me. the next time i take something apart i will take photo’s as i go. it worked with the washing machine, thats whats so annoying.

    Re: DUALIT 3 SLICE TOASTER

I have absolutely no idea where you’ll get a wiring diagram, but apply a little logic here………..

There’ll be a common neutral across the elements, then a selector to supply 1/2/3 slices? Each ‘slot’ will have it’s own supply and the selector will switch them on incrementally from 1-3. Five minutes with a multimeter should figure that out….

    Obviously, with the plug out!

    Re: DUALIT 3 SLICE TOASTER

Dualit machines are worth fixing Helo, a whole lot better than junk like that Kenwood pile of rubbish which, let’s face it, is a throw-away pile of crap. I’d also wager they do a slightly better job, just a bit.

I don’t have access to Dualit technical information but I’m sure P45 is right, it can’t be that hard to work out. I’d also think that Dualit would help.

    Re: DUALIT 3 SLICE TOASTER

We had one of these in last week for a new timer if it has not yet been collected I`ll post a piccy of the underside.

If it has gone then I`m sure as K says Dualit should be able to help.

Sorry beetlebug but it was collected on Friday. Looks like a job for a multimeter or on the phone to Dualit.
