Duplicate posts.

I have noticed one or two identical posts, no doubt due to the site almost coming to a halt this morning. One of them was mine, I have just deleted one from Don as well in the ‘Quit Smoking’ thread, is it in order to remove these, they normally happen to me when the site times out after I hit the ‘submit’ button.

Yes, please delete where required 🙂

I meant to delete Don’s earlier but the site got so slow I gave up and did something else then forgot 😉

The thing to watch for is two mods deleting at the same time and removing both posts (Ken and I have done it a few times 😯 )

Delete from the newest (bottom) first then it can’t happen 😀

Loads of duplicate posts recently. Roll on the new server or something I guess?Busy times it all goes tits up and duplicate posts abound. 😕

Rule of thumb don’t forget, delete only the bottom one on the scrolling XML lest someone tries to delete at the same time and chooses the top one thereby clearing both…if you catch my drift?
