    DUTY OF CARE….

just been reading thread on dual fuel cookers, ie wont touch electrical side as their is no means of testing gas…
    on that note
how many appliance repairers test for earth loop..insulation res..
how many check for voltage on an appliance before attempting to remove appliance..how many leave customers with documentation to say job has been completed and that their electrical appliance & circuit it is plugged into is safe …

im just trying to compare views between gas jobs and electrical, as we all seem to be clear on gas jobs , and their tends to be a bit of a grey area on what we should be doing reguards electrical safety..

as i said earlier its not just about the appliance safety, its also about the circuit it is plugged into… where does our duty of care start, end ???
