We have a DW004 dishwasher – badged as Essential if this rings a bell. Only 18 months old. Problem is that it faults out during / at the end of the initial rinse cycle on all programs. The following lights flash intermittedly (wash, drying, end = on, rinse = off and vise versa).

The Service Line manuals says to call an engineer. At £80 per hour or part there off, I hope you can understand my concern whether calling out an engineer is throwing good money after bad.

Can anyone tell what the fault is via the flashing lights. What are the cost of replacement parts. Am I better to cut my losses and get a new machine?

Any help would be appreciated. 🙁

Doubtless a PCB failure on it, it’s a Fagor in a skirt and they don’t have in in the UK at the moment either just for good measure. But in fairness the bits are cheap and the charge you’ve been quoted seems a bit on the high side.

UK service is handled by Anglo Iberian Service on 01245 320992.

    Hope that helps.

    K.
