    Hi there

    can anyone help me with what the error code E2 is on my dishwasher? The model is DW009 – it was a freebie from B&Q in recent kitchen refit? I am not getting anywhere with them so wondered if anyone had any ideas please?

    No drain detected in the time allowed.

    Ok thank you – is it likely that the drain is blocked then? I am useless at this type of thing unfortunately so any advise on what to check would also be greatfully recieved

    If it’s coupled to a spigot under the sink, that may be blocked.

    These Chinese machines do tend to get blocked drain pumps quite easily as the filters don’t fit very well. Pump blockage will involve dragging the machine out and removing the base cover (and plug) for access.
