    I have a DWF 64 SS

It had a water leak which destroyed the motor with salt and detergent…it subsequently kept tripping out the mains….

The motor was replaced and now the machine fills up and keeps on washing over and over….and never finishes…It was running for over three hours recently

When I select the button to empty the washer it empties and seems to keep on pumping out

What would be the most likely problem be

What’s it actually doing? Does it actually run the programme and then repeat? Is it getting started and then hanging up? Does is heat?

The programmer is an electro-mechanical one, so the failure of any given function can cause the programme to over-run.

We left your previous thread with you replacing the pump housing, has the machine been functional since then?

It did indeed work fine for several months…then the flood occured which destroyed the motor….Now it seems to run….ie water fills up and it just cycles through the wash…but not actually doing anything…the water does not heat up….

So far….I’ve replaced the motor assembly and the heater….

replacing the pump impellor did solve the original problem….the problem now is it keeps filling up and washing even on a short cycle it never finishes….

The water appears to be luke warm…..
