Hi, I have a DWF32 dishwasher which has been working fine until yesterday.
After a wash I noticed the base was still full of water i.e. had not drained. After a lot of ‘googling’ I have taken the following steps:
a) removed and checked filters
b) checked hoses for blockages (the ones outside the machine)
c) taken the top and side panels off
d) checked the red float switch is not stuck (it wasn’t)
e) bailed out the inside and retried – no change
When I turn on the machine I can hear a sound like a pump for couple of minutes but no water is expelled.
I would like to check that the pump is not blocked but cannot see how to get into the machine. It looks like I will have to lay the machine on its back but I am still not sure whether this will allow the base to be removed.
Do I need to remove the base to access the pump?
One other observation on the left hand side of the machine is a plastic tube ‘network’ and the top left appears to be full of ‘crud’. Is this important i.e. is it some kind of crude pressure sensor and should I attempt to clean it. In order to clean it I would need to disconnect three hoses located at the bottom but I am concerned that they may not seal properly afterwards.
Any help/hints etc. would be greatly appreciated.
