ParticipantHi Guys,
Any ideas on this one. Original fault reported Led 3 flashing (rinse) but before I got there customer had moved the dishwasher to another chalet that he owns. The fault he was then getting, Led 1 flashing (pre).I arrived, checked no water in base, I then selected reset and put on a quick wash programme. Everything seemed to be ok although the water had heated it didn’t seem to be that hot. Machine went through sequence wash, rinse, but did not heat up on the rinse section then jumped to flashing Led 4 (dry) after about 10 minutes. So I thought fine I’ll order up some stats, that should solve the promlem. I still had the machine on and Led 4 flashing, when I unplugged machine to retreive my RCD, as soon as I plugged machine back in it gave a quick pump out and then fault had change from Led 4 to Led 1 flashing. This would not clear even after selecting reset.
Does anyone think that this might be a PCB fault rather than the stats ???
I would appeciate your thoughts on this.
Cheers David

I would think so David especially as you are getting random errors and not able to reset it? Often a glance at the BIT100 control card shows visible damage too! Water ingress to the door switch is another major failing on these machines. 😉

Hi
I take it we have eliminated earth leakage??
This will send weird errors and on some machines cause PCB lockout.Greg

ParticipantIF you are getting various faults i suspect possible loose connections on the pcb they normally come loose and give random error codes

Thanks Guys
I’ll order up a PCB and Stats, this customer is 60 miles away so I don’t really want to do repeat calls. As to earth leakage I meggared the machine empty. So I will try again with water in just in case there is a very small hole in the element causing problems.
I appreciate your input.Cheers David

Probably too late? Sounds like a dodgy heating element though. Thay can cause some weird faults!
