Recently had an engineer out to the above model but seems to be little information available in the public domain about it from either whirlpool or Ikea!
The fault is that suddenly after four years the machine will not complete a full cycle and bleeps twice to finish before the water flow is activated.
The engineer tried re-setting the machine and literally taking it apart but to no avail – This is my last ditch attempt to see if anyone knows;
a. What the problem might be
b. Where i could find more info on this modelMuch appreciated

Three versions of this machine – one made by Bosch, two by SMEG. For Whirlpool, for Ikea……….. :conf:
Please put up the 12nc number from the rating label – the one that starts with ‘8’.

OK, you’ve got a SMEG one. A read of THIS is probably a good starting point. Very prone to corruption issues, however from your description I would suspect that the pcb is the most likely culprit.
