    Hi,

The annual “my dishes are not too clean!” issue has raised its head again. After cleaning the matrix and associated pipework ( my tip: take off the matrix and pour in a little “oxyclean” and hot water – comes up a treat!) the cleaning results are better but…

When the machine was new, at the end of the cleaning cycle it was difficult to take out the dishes as they were HOT. Now tepid is more like it and I cant help feeling that this is not contributing to the cleaning effort.

Could someone please comment on which temperature sensor is the most likely culprit as I am loath to change the PCB (again) or strip down the razor sharp door (again) unless it is neccessary.

    Many thanks in advance

Being a digital machine, it would not complete the cycle if it didn’t think that the water was hot enough. Thermistor in the door is a possible culprit – p/no 977870006 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly. Might do the trick; PCB unlikely to lose calibration.

Power off if you’re going to split the door.

    Re: DWI 67.1 Water Temperature

Fitted new thermistor and seems to have made little of no difference. Everything else is working correctly with the exception of the water being nowhere near as hot as it used to be. Is definately “warm” so is getting some heat from somewhere.

Also took off and cleaned matrix and associated pipework.

Would appreciate any futher suggestions – thanks in advance
