    Hello all, I don’t normally do Dyson repairs but a good customer asked me to repair hers and I feel obliged to help her out.

    It needs a new motor judging by the noise and smell coming off the thing, however I am unsure which motor I need as there seems to be 2 different ones listed.

    I haven’t opened the vac up yet so can’t visually verify, but I was hoping you can tell by serial number.

    Serial number is 096-UK- N35851.

    Any help or advice appreciated.

    This is listed as fitting all DC07’s (1193401)


    Never had any problem fitting this one.
