I have replaced cyclone cover on my DC07, all well and good, but find I’m unable to reconnect the the rod which releases the base of the dust storage cylinder. I have attempted to drop it into the small receptor countless times, but to no avail.
Does anyone know how this can be achieved. I now have a perfectly running machine, but am unable to empty out the stoor.
