A friend asked me how to remove the hepa filter casing. I had a look and it appears the clear plastic canister that holds the filter is a bayonet fit although said canister cannot be twisted round.
I looked for screws or locking tabs 👿 – grrr……how the blazes do you remove it?? It’s probably bleedin’ obvious but I just couldn’t work out how it came off.
If you mean the one fitted to the top of the clear bin, there is a catch at the front of the handle you use to pull the binnaway from body of the cleaner…filter is under there…its just a slot in fit…shouod pull out very easily
Put a screwdrive under the front facing clip on the cover, then theres a small, catch either side of the cover..these two are very brittle.prise those apart gently, and it should pop off..
Sorry sound lile a differangmarrangement onmyour model
Try this
to remove the post motor filter, first remove the bin from the vacuum. Once you’ve done that, this part should clip or twist on and off. You’ll then be able to remove the post motor filter from its ‘cage’.
Tried all that and was just waiting for the sound of cracking plastic. There are two tabs at the back each side of the filter cover but these seem to do nothing to release the top cover.
Still foxed…………
