    Evening 🙂
    I have a dyson dc 04 and today it packed up.
    sounded funny for a minute then cut out. after 20 mins it would turn on but still sounded funny so turned it off.
    question is does anyone have details or pics of how to get the motor out.
    I have stripped it down to motor housing and clutch / brush part.

    Ive tried to get into a fewa dyson motors myself and found most of the armeturs windings at fault burnt out may be worth buying a new motor

    I think Qualtex do armatures for Dyson but I’ve not tried them as I don’t have an account with any Qualtex stockists.
