E10 error code Electrolux ew14450w

We have a built in washer dryer and when we use the washer dryer it stops after a few minutes and the code e10 appears.

The washer machine is built in so I don’t think any hoses could of got caught the actual wash part works fine

Any help would be be great.

Model is

Electrolux ewx14450 type HI444432 prod no 914606001 00

from what you are saying it only gives E10 when you use the hot air dryer but if you select a wash only the machine washes and spins ok with no problem

the dryer is a condensor dryer and uses a small amount of cold water to condense the steam. if this valve fail to open it will give this fault. it is a seperate valve and only used in the dryer

Correct the washing machine works fine but it stops after about 10 minutes once the dryer has started.

What is the valve called and is it easy to fit?

its the main watervalve at the back. cant promise its the fault would need to be tested

part number 50297094000 do a google image search
