A couple of days ago we purchased a Hoover VHW654D Washer Dryer. We have washed and dried a few loads of washing without incident but when we last ran a drying cycle to dry some bed linen, the cycle ran for a couple of hours and then the error code E11 was displayed on the digital display. The door was still locked so we had to turn off the device to get the linen out.

We have now put the machine back on and are currently drying a small load as a test but obviously we are worried that the message will appear again and that we may need to call an Engineer out.

Can anyone advise as to what the code relates to?

    Thanks

    Re: E11 Error Code

Main pcb thinks that the one which operates the dryer is faulty.

    Thanks for that Penguin 45

This would seem to explain why it does not seem to dry anymore!!

    interesting fault this one

had one today, and according to tyhe hoover website, its heater/ntc/wiring/pcb

now it could just be a broken wire.. which was what was wrong with the one i saw today

sadly its more likely more serious

    Re: E11 Error Code

Rang the company I bought the product from and they didn’t have a record of what the error code meant so they have agreed to send a replacement.

Hope this one lasts a bit longer!

I told you what the error code means. A call to Hoover for a service visit was all that was required.

    Re: E11 Error Code

As the appliance was only 2 days old when the problem happened, why should I accept a repair when I was offered a replacement?

Apologies if I appear to be taking work away from Service Engineers but I think people shouldn’t have to put up with equipment which isn’t fit for purpose.

    the immortal 3 words again

its under 28days, of course ur entitled to a swap, what p45 was sayin was that its poor the supplier ‘had no info’ if that was indeed the case

those 3 words are used too hastily imho
