ParticipantHi
I have an AEG Lavamat L75470FL (2012) which seems to be stopping up each time it gets to the drain part in a cycle. It used to be intermittent but now it is here to stay 🙁
No churning sounds… no sounds at all. I got an occasional E20 message on the display and read somewhere that if you press the pause button and its closest neighbour (as you power up?) you can go into diagnostic mode… I did not get any diagnostic “mode” but the machine did display “E21” after a few seconds which on googling seems to mean its not draining (tell me something new :bang: )I have done the following while it was intermittent:
– Unscrewed “coin trap” thingy, checked for anything jamming/blocking the pump, also checked pump paddles turn easily with a little “magnetic” resistance as it passes the poles
– Then I took the front off and had a look at the pump: no water damage I can see, nothing jammed in any of the rubber coupling hoses, the ball valve thing seems to look fine, blew through the drain hose & it seems to be clear….
– in desperation I pulled off and on the connectors to the control board hoping it was a corroded edge connector…Putting it all together again, it worked! 😀 😀 😀 But only for a few more days and now it does not drain at all 🙁
So:
-Is there a way I can power up the pump directly (or other test) to see if it is faulty?
-Any other ideas of where to look? Relays? Power transistors…?
– I need circuit diagrams if I am going to delve into the control board much more… any ideas where to get them? I cant find on the net many references to my model washer at allThanks for your help

UPDATE:
Ok. I opened the “coin catcher” at the bottom and pushed the pump paddles around while it was switched on and doing nothing… pump suddenly started working and it managed to do a whole wash with several drain cycles… so it looks like it is the pump…perhaps one dead winding?
So next question is where best to buy the part: it is an askoll M239 132691100 40W

There is a low cost alternative HERE
I am not sure if our forum store ships parts abroad but a Google for that part number or the very expensive manufacturers current part number which is1326911003 may give you some alternatives.
PS. Even company authorised agents do not have access to pcb level circuit info.
It is fairly common for this type of pump to fail in this way after several years of use.
