Ebac 9000 Series Humidifier

Guys,

Just noticed that my humidifier is not collecting that much water, well none in a day compared to what it used to do.
Stripped it down and give the coils a good clean, cleaned the humidity sensor, compressor kicks in fine, but I have noticed on first operation the coils will get cold and water starts to condense on them, but after say 20 mins, the coils start to get warm and stay warm, compressor still going, could that be low gas or I know these ebacs have a self defrost mode so wondering if it thinks its iced up when its not.
Any suggestions, tests or ideas would be great.
