Eco w288 Door closure

Iv’e got a machine thats very difficult to close the door and on closer inspection either the white front cover plate 8076560 or the cast inner cover 8081693 is off centered causing the door seal to foul when closing.
Has anyone had any issues with this as it’s the same parts as a 1607w ??

Ok

Just for future reference this is now sorted,the problem lay with the drum outer plate behind the white enamel one,as it was not lined up correctly thus throwing the door hinge out hence the difficulty in closing the door see photo

In this image the plate is not central,below is what it is supposed to be like

was that from new as delivered or something that happend in use?

Well she said it was stiff from new ,so i put some vaseline on both the hook and lock and if i,m honest after that i was not happy and expected her to call back.
Although the cast cover has a locating tab it can still be mounted a few mil out.
