Can anyone tell me if ECS control box and stator are the same as a GW601 or if you can interchange the models parts

    Re: ECS parts

Stators: There are three different types – phase 1, phases 2,3,4 and phase 5 onwards.

ECS – Electronics Control System? Motor Control Module? At least 5 different variatiants – one for each “phase” up to 5.

As far as I know they are phase group specific – what are you trying to do? A 601 is a phase 2 BTW.

I have a GW601 that has a blown stator and motor control I have been offered a ECS model washing machine that works but noisy in spin cycle I was hoping I could use the ECS to repair my GW601

I know that F+P sell these machines under the Frigidaire, Shacklock and Kelvinator brand names, but I confess I’ve never heard of ECS.
