ego/ Diamond H conversion

Working on a Leisure Rangemaster 110 and the grill reg is goosed. The new regulator from Connect is Ego but the old is Diamond H 33ERX22M. Looking at the conversion chart in the stickies, on the first S is pilot but on the regulator there is S1 and S2. Is this the correct conversion for those regulators or is there another one 😕

Should have a piece of paper with that one Tony, bascily connect the wire that was on the Pilot connection on the Diamond H to S2 on the new Ego item, your then need to link P1 to S1 with a short link wire (also usualy enclosed)
4 and P2 should also be linked. can fax it over to you if you pm me a number.

p1= brown live feed
p2= Blue neutral
4= blue neutral +wire link to p2
2= load A red
2A= load B violet
s2= pilot neon red
s1 link to p1

Thanks Mark 😀 ,
I’ll go back tomorrow and finish it off.
It had already taken me nearly an hour to find all the retaining screws for the hob as they were under a quarter inch of grease, then I find out the regulators are different on the home straight :twisted:.

If you got that as Gen fromconnect, i would complain as mine here have a conversion chart as well as the wire links all included in the bag.

It came in one of those small resealable bags with a handwritten label and a Yellow Connect label on it. A return methinks 😡 . I may have a word.

The last one I had from connect didn’t have a wiring chart with it 😡

Thought I’d have a word with Connect on this and see if they would send the sheet by email (just to see how bothered they could be).
Initial call at about 9.15 am and the C/S lad says they’ll email it out soon and credit the carriage as a goodwill gesture. Good on em I thought.
12.30 rang again, no record of it, start again and they log it as a complaint to be sorted asap.
Rang again 2.30 still not done.
Rang at 4.30, as its a complaint there is a backlog and it will be Monday at the earliest, as they have to contact the manufacturer for a sheet of paper.
Good job its not urgent eh!

Good old connect, I’m still waiting for a returns number(2 weeks)to send an order back that I had already cancelled twice!
