Hello
my fan oven element needs to be replaced so i ordered one from a local spare parts supplier but the old element is a 1900w and the new one looks the same but is a 2400w.
is this ok to use?

Yes it shouldn’t cause a problem just heat up quicker the thermostat will control it without a problem

3871425124 is the part number for the correct 1900W Element, the higher wattage one will heat up faster but is designed for an oven with a different type fan. There is a possibility that your oven will encounter overheat issues in cavity behind, the 2400w element will go hotter quicker & heat can be transferrd through rear wall where there are 2 thermal cut-outs in element circuit which may go out every now & again. On the other hand there may be no issues.
