Elba oven won’t heat up

Hi,
Just fitted a new thermal cut-out to me Elba PXDO 60 oven after a it went bang. The original thermal cut-out was fried so I got a new one and fitted it in. Trouble is, everything works now (fan, light, timer, indicator light) except the main oven doesn’t heat up. Can the thermal cut-out be fitted the wrong way round or do you think I am looking at a blown element.

Probably a “cause and effect” fault. The bang as the fan element goes can cause other damage.

Dave_Conway will be able to advise with regard to a replacement element.
