Elderly Electrolux WD1034

    Product No. 9145001-01. When on spin it agitates for a couple of minutes then the timer clicks to the next notch and the drum stops moving for the remainder of the cycle. I noticed there is some sort of relay which sits in the bottom of the machine and wondered if that could be faulty? I remember on some of the old Hoover Logics there was a microswitch on the back of the tub that would affect the spin action if faulty. I checked for blockage in the pressure vessel etc.

    hi errr been a bit since i have seen one but i think your right . the motors on these w/m were built like tanks. the part number you need is:

    Thanks, Rogue. Looks like it would be silly money for one even if it is available. I wonder if I could bypass it? 😕

    Timer fault. EMW will probably still do it. Bulletproof machine!! Keep it running!!
