ParticipantMy Reversair tumble dryer is working OK except that it is very noisy. Both the Drum axle and the motor axle seem to be firm without any obvious play, so I think it may be the jockey wheels. The noise is a flat rattly noise loud enough to make conversation in the same small room difficult.
How easy is it to replace those wheels and can I get spares?February 26, 2016 at 2:43 pm #435820iadom

One number to many in that model number. 😉
However, if it is a 37664 then 2 of THESE are what you need.
I do them by turning the dryer upside down ( never do that with a washing machine or dishwasher BTW)
Then by removing the small kickstrip plate along the front edge and gently easing the front forwards taking care not to pull off any wires it is just possible to reach inside and change these pulleys as long as you don’t have very thick arms. 🙂
The alternative is a more complicated strip down.

Hi a further query on my 37664 reversair. Jockey wheels replaced but I need new bearing pads under front drum opening – and probably a new felt bearing seal. Can these be replaced by taking the back off and moving the drum back enough to clear the lip on the front panel? or must one remove the drum completely?lip

What did you remove to change the pulleys?
TBH I have never had to change a drum front seal on one of these but would probably do it the same way as changing belt or pulleys. Upside down, remove kick strip and gently ease the cabinet front forward.
Failing that removal of the front panel, not the back is the way to go.Felt seal is a C00165993
Bearing pads are C00165940March 4, 2016 at 8:22 pm #435825DavidS

As you suggested I turned it upside down and removed the the kick strip, I didn’t remove the drum. I had removed the back panel when first looking for the source of the noise, so may have lost the pads etc, when I did that

No need to remove the drum for either repair.
