I have just took posession of the above washing.
I needed a basic washing machine after my Indesit WDE12 broken down (concrete blocks matel housing had sheared through).

Well, anyway, I digress – back to this replacement…

The Electra WD1100 A washer/dryer – this machine appears to wsh and spin (I haven’t tried it fully yet) but I need to kids uniforms dried for school tomorrow, so I set the timer for 30 minutes, and moved the right hand dial to where I thought drying cycle was (on both cotton and synthetic cycles). Nothing seems to happen. It appears to perform a spin, possibly?

Without a manual I am having trouble.

I needed a washing machine, which appears to be fine (proof of pudding will be tomorrow) but am I doing something worng with the drying setting?

(Prevoius owners ebay description listing said they have used it as a dryer)

Press the “Half Load” button……. Set timer for 90 minutes, make sure you’ve only got half a load in. It’ll do it, but it will cost you a fortune in electricity.
