Can anybody help? We have an electra WD1100A without a manual. It’s been lost in a move. Please tell us what the temperature dial does (the left hand dial of the three). As the programmes are preset temperature-wise what does that left hand dial do? Does it over-ride the preset temperature or …?
    Many thanks

    Re: electra WD1100A

This is basically a Hotpoint/Creda machine. The temp dial allows you to reduce the maximum temperature of any given wash, it does not increase the temp of say a 40 degree wash to a 95 degree wash. If you leave it on 95 degrees it will do each wash at its pre determined setting.

Edit. Cancel that first bit. It is an Indesit produced machine however the info regarding the temp knob is the same. You cannot set a temp to high for any given wash with this control, only with the main timer control .
