    Hi.

    I have a new electric cooker, with 4 ceramic hob plates.

    Two of the plates have red spots in the middle of them. What does this mean? Says nothing in the manual about them.

    Usually it means rapid heating.

    Depends on the specification but usually a little, yes.

    Not that it’s huge or worth worrying about.
