My electric oven is only 11 months old but the oven isn’t warming up now. The hob and grill work ok. A repair man called today but he left without fixing it. He said he checked the element and it has 38 ohm resistance so it’s ok. He thinks it’s more likely the function switch is faulty.The company’s website is selling the switch for £17, but if it turns out not to be this I’m back to square one. I rang customer service which is MyAppliances, the oven is made by AAUK Ltd. I didn’t buy the oven, it came with the house which I bought last June. They said with no sale of purchase they’d charge £85 call out, which seems unfair as it’s not a year old yet. Has anyone come across this fault before and does anyone have any advice? Thanks.
