The grill on my built-in electric oven has stopped working.

It’s a Magnet oven, Philips model GH 704 WH (CA884400052)

My first thought was that it would be cheaper to replace the oven, rather than getting it fixed.

However, although the basic oven itself is quite cheap, getting the old one disconnected and scrapped and a new one delivered and connected actually will work out rather expensive.

Can anyone advise whether repairing a defunct grill is viable? Is this a job for a specialist – or something a general electrician might manage?

    Thanks
