electric oven no back plate??

    had a quick look at this the other day but couldnt see any screws for the back plate and because wiring was too short at the back couldnt get it all the way out to see if it can be done from the rear. seems pretty daft design to me!

    some candy ovens have no backplate and the fan and element are accessed by removing the rear casing and then removing the sub assembly with fan motor and element

    And an old one too by the sound of it? Like washtronics example access from the rear, so your gonna have probs if that cooker cable is too short…!!!

    cord has been extended prior to my return visit, sounds like a right pain just for an element!

    philips EKC006 branded ECKO had a similar design-removed from the back, havnt seen any of these for years, they used to make a double oven -2 single oven size, not the usual 1 and 1/2 size, they weighed a ton!
