ParticipantHello
Our current De Dietrich single electric oven which is built in under the worktop (and a De Dietrich Induction hob on top) is on its last legs. (element repaired several times, control knobs lasting less than a year before snapping etc)
Had a quick look at the forums and Neff seems a good make-we would also like a double oven.
However am I going to find it difficult finding a double oven to fit underneath which gives enough ventilation space for the hob? Any recommendations would be great
many thanks

Hi yoghurt
All the tech spec I have come across and the conversations I have had with manufacturers so far say ” only a single oven can be installed under a induction hob to ensure adequate ventilation”.
However someone else may know different 😉
Another way of achieving a double oven may be to have a single oven as now and add a combination microwave which would then give the second fan oven.HTH

That sounds a great idea having a combi microwave
(just means more research now on which ones!).
Our existing Panasonic microwave/grill is over 10 years old and still going strong-are they still a good make for Combi microwaves? Also what sort of ventilation do they need as our current microwave is in an under counter cupboard but with quite a bit of clearance around it.
Will look out for single ovens made by Neff and Bosch which appear to be good makes (unless someone has managed a double oven underneath an induction hob)
Cheers
