Electrolux/aeg lava mat turbo 16830

It doesn’t dry anymore.
It’s about 5 yrs old
It washes ok.

The guy said it would cost about £190 to fix, the part is quite expensive.

Should we get a new machine completely or get this old one fixed???

Hi

How often do you actually need to use the drier ?.
If you have space then get a separate drier which are more efficient to operate than a wash drier.

The engineersaid it ws the circuit board had gone… But I’ve read some replies other place and it sound as though we need to check a wire..

It works for about a minute or two and then outs itself onto pause.
Or shows error e10

The problem is simple and relatively cheap to fix…IT DOES NOT NEED A CIRCUIT BOARD…The fault (E10) refers to the water inlet valve being at fault. A very common fault and easy to fix….I suggest you get someone else in to sort it and advise them of my diagnosis. To find a good engineer in your area you only need to check out THIS LINK 😀
