Is there a chemical which will clean out the sump area effectively? This one is bad. Full of cheese 😮 and then a roasting dish full of fat was dumped in it.

The best way to clean this type is to put some water in sump with a descaler and then use a pump and blow air into the chamber. It will clear it out but you might have to reset the flood protection afterwards. Works everytime

Many thanks. Badly Integrated ESL614. Took me 3 1/2 hours with washing up liquid/drain unblocker/toothbrush/cotton wool buds. Washing up liquid would not even foam just turned to milk on wash 8O. Inlet valve slow to fill but has been in antiflood state for 2 mths. Extended warranty engineer wrote it off for needing new sump. Can have similar one if you want to spend £700 he said.
