Electrolux built in oven

Anyone help with part number for what looks like a resistor which is inline with cooling fan. Replaced overheat stat but no joy so ran oven up to temperature but fan wont come on. Is this resistor needed or can it be safely removed and bypassed, never come across one before.

Im not familiar with this make, but I know BSH use resistors to warm up the stats that activate the cooling fans. Stats tend to be mounted on bracket on those. Hope that might help 😕 🙂

Thanks for reply this one seems to be on four wires covered with a heat shrink sleeve, I cut it open and there is a small disc in centre with a loop of wire over top. Can’t find it on spare parts list though.

Sound like the part I fited to an AEG (Lux) oven recently
DST8996619267611 from memory it had 4 blue wire and 2 small heat shrinked temp controls.

I had need of the same part a little while ago. As far as I can remember, it was item no 999 on the parts list as it isn’t shown on the exploded view.

Sack it off and fit a 75c N/O TOC, much cheaper, more reliable.

Thanks guys fitted new part and oven working fine, Made a hint to invite me for Sunday roast but no luck 😥
