ParticipantCan anyone throw some light on the problem obtaining Electrolux caravan fridge spares now.
Distriparts still list the models and part numbers but I am unable to order anything, I did phone them but the explanation made little sense TBH.
It seems that side of the company is in fact another company within Electrolux and I need a seperate account to re enable the ordering of these parts 😕
Thanks in advance.
Dave.

They are still based in Luton, as far as I know, so the Luton 01582 numbers are probably best for DOMETIC !

Ah, Dometic that’s the name of them.
What’s the full phone number please ? I only deal with Distriparts in Cumbria.

Dometic is the company, American I believe, that bought the caravan fridge sector from Lux.
Distriparts still stock the goods, but will only supply direct to a Dometic agent. (Politics as most of us Lux agents wouldn’t take the work on when they moved companies).
Phone number for Dometic, 01582-494111.
We do have a few spares ourselves and may be able to help. 01278-434978 part numbers would be handy, if not Prod Number.

Sorry but it was worth a shot.
FYI 2926528122 Superseded by 292652106 and 29022192018 Shows as obsolete. That doesn’t mean no longer available as sometimes when I check on a part it is the middle of a part number change.
Best bet is phone Dometic & see if they will supply you with bits, you never know they may need an agent in Sunny Devon, as it is caravan country. (I know this as they clog up our roads to get down to you).
Hugh Lamberton is the contact name if you want to try for an agency.

OK, thanks Ian.
I don’t suppose one would have the heater would it ?
It’s the “L” shaped (sort of) 240v one.
