Have an Electrolux EKC6047X cooker with the thermostat contacts jammed on heating the oven to a very nasty temperature.
The thermostat that needs replacing is on the end of the switch assembly that also turns on the fan/lamp/heating element with rather worn plastic knobs on the front nearly hiding the temp engraved onto the dial which is only 3 years old.
Does the spindle of the thermostat assembly push directly into the end of the switch assembly and then bolted on?
Have not pulled the unit out yet as the as the cooker is needed until a new part is ordered.
Any help gratefully received before the cooker top is taken apart.
