Electrolux D8800 keeps tripping my home circuit breaker!

Every time I try to use the top oven or grill on my Electrolux D8800-4-M it trips my circuit breaker.

The main oven works fine, including grilling, and the top oven light works OK but whenever I try to turn on the tip oven grill (single or double) – pow, everything goes dark! 😯

I think I need to replace the single grill element but if anyone can say if it could be something more sinister (control board etc) then please let em know before I start spending cash on spare parts.
