    Hi All,

My Electrolux ESL 6115 dishwasher (PNC911939201/02) (SN62730345) (PN143861) has developed a fault. The water is not being heated and remains cold throughout any chosen cycle. Everything else works ok and it doesnt trip the electric circuit. It just washes with cold water every time.

Would this be a faulty element or a temparture sensing unit? I am mechanically minded but have never replaced a part on a dishwasher but am willing and want to give it a go, if not only to save but to learn at the same time.
So if anyone could give any guidance on the likely problem & the easiest way to get the appropriate part out (ie remove dishwasher unscrew back panel OR keep dishwasher insitu and remove internal panel etc) I would be very gratefull.

    Many Thanks

    Clive

The most common cause of this fault is a relay failure on the PCB.

Lots of info on this if you do a search. 😉

Enter, Zanussi AND dishwasher AND heating, in exactly that format in the search facility for this forum and you will find all the information you need.

Hi Just to say thanks again I followed the post http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … er&start=0 and resoldered the relay and everything for the time being is working fine, I will of course be back to buy a new PCB if the need arises.

    Thanks
